c.1900 Similar to a Juzek Master Art Copy of Gagliano

Inside is this photocopied Juzek label.

This violin is a wonderful find, truly exceptional craftsmanship in every way. It is not labeled correctly. It looks like it was made in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. The ebony crown on the heal of the neck is not the typical Juzek crown, and the scroll does not have the distinctive edge on its volute as seen on most Juzek Master Art violins from the early 1900’s.

The tone of this violin is most remarkable. Its rich dark tone has plenty of clarity, power, resonance, smoothness and responsiveness too. The over all rating is exceptionally high as one would expect from such a well made instrument.
The condition is excellent! The center seam was re-glued under the tailpiece.

Set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
