This wonderful French violin has a smooth, warm, rich, tone! The JTL Barnabetti violins have a very good reputation. Jerome Thibouville-Lamy (JTL) was born in 1833 and worked in Mirecourt and Paris. His workshop was the largest in France. The Barnabetti model was started in 1860 and continued to be made into the early 1900’s. The upper block is branded JTL.
The condition is excellent. There is only an 1/8 inch repaired edge crack by the button on the back.

Set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
