Guarneri model workshop violin. Probably made in a German workshop in the early 1900s. It has a golden oil varnish. I set this one up for fiddle music, because it has a little longer body, which results in a good dark fiddle tone. This fiddle has a very good tone evaluation. An excellent choice for someone looking for a better sounding fiddle, that is on a limited budget.
The condition is good. It has a chip by the treble f-hole and there is some rib distortion. There are no crack repairs.
