Exceptional Violin from the Janos Toth Workshop
From the Universal Dictionary of Violin & Bow Makers by William Henley
This violin is from the János Tóth workshop, probably made after his death by his daughter Teresia. This violin’s varnish is more like what Teresia used, than that of her father. The violin is made to perfection and is in almost like-new condition. Truly a wonderful find!
The only thing to report on its condition is a common center-seam repair under the tailpiece.

The tone evaluation is way above average--plenty of richness and depth to go with the brilliance!
