Interesting Mid 1700’s English Violin labeled Angelo de Toppani.
Most likely English made, with its high arching, choice of wood and painted purfling. The neck and scroll are not original. The label is not original, but the date could be close to when it was made. If only violins could talk. Think of the history this has gone through. My daughters have played it for several years and now it is time for the next person to make music with it.
The condition is good! There were many repairs made over its almost 300 years of producing music. All repairs are stable. The neck and scroll are not original to the violin. The varnish has been touched up over the years. The top has a little of its original varnish under a top coat.

Set up and ready to play with used Dominant strings.
Violin only.  SOLD
